I Love My Olive Family

I come in from Sunday this afernoon and to my surprise I have a package...I knew it wasn't from Aaron or my Mom because they usually tell me when they have sent something, so I look and it's from my olive family!!! I know the biggest smile came over my face... Reading the cards and words of encouragement really made my day! So THANK YOU!!!!!! I love you all and you are all missed very much! I will be home so soon now and i can't wait to get back and see you wonderful people. Your words and thoughts have truly brought so much encouragement to me while i've been away. Thank you doesn't seem to be enough. Oh and can I just say that the Nances show me once again why we are such good friends...1) the singing card and 2)Zach and his mexican friend (hey-sus) sent a card that had me laughing so stinkin hard! Love you guys.

So i was going to re-post the happenings from Xi'an, but quite frankly it's so long...so just ask me about it when i get back and i'll tell you all about it...trust me you'll want to see some of the facial expressions from some of our adventures. haha

This week was good. My bubba's birthday was Sunday the 11th...I can't believe he's already 8. He's growing up so fast....Next thing ya know he's gonna have a girlfriend....I don't know how i feel about that. heh I got to see and spend time with the mom, the lovely and very prego Brandice, Tia Lisa, and my beautiful Wellita...via skype of course. It was great. I always enjoy getting to see them. Soon i'll get to actually wrap my arms around them. :) That was monday..Tuesday Aaron and I celebrated 15 amazing months together. With each passing month we are grown and stretched so much. We are shown the realness of the one who has orchestrated our relationship and the one who is our foundation. I just want to publically tell you Aaron Greenwood, that you have encouraged, supported,loved and been on your knees for me like no one else these past 15 months. I love you so very much and i'm so thankful that you are my best friend. We are a great team and He's got BIG plans for our lives. Thank you for being the man he's created you to be, for leading us both and for loving Him with such a passion. I'm honored to be by your side on this journey.

Lets see..Thursday Sav and I hung out with one of our friends. The plan was to go to lunch and then to the zoo, then the market....so we thought. heh we went to lunch, which was good, except for the fact that i got suckered into trying neck...yes i said NECK! I believe it goes without saying that neck is not something i enjoy, nor will i ever willingly eat it again...We had other stuff, we ate at hot-pot which is pretty cool. You order veggies,meat, whatever you want and they bring it to you raw....you have this bowl of broth and a hot pot that boils the water....you just put your stuff in there, and then eat....After we ate, we had really great conversation...we were able to share with our friend things that we have been through in our lives and how we have dealt with situations. After lunch we were going to go to this park where they have cherry blossom trees or something, but it was so cold, so we just went to the market. That was fun. :) I love spending time with her. We are very much alike in many ways. We then parted and headed back to the school....Good day!

Friday we went to try to find the American Airlines in china because we still need to confirm our flight home....Well this has been a proces!! We have been trying to do this since like February....Again we didn't get it accomplished because the AA place moved to a different building...so we have to go back another time...so we just went to TGIFridays for dinner and then headed home.

Saturday I just relaxed and did some laundry, it was a simple and wonderful day! I got to spend some time with Aaron. He's so goofy sometimes. But i love it. :) Today (Sunday) has been a great day... Hmmm i don't know what my plans for this next week are...we shall see. We have a break coming up in May, which will be nice. Maybe i can skype M.Olive again that weekend...we'll see :) Until next time. Love much.Laugh a whole lot, and hey, why not eat with some chopsticks....it's fun, or funny..either is good. heh
