SO i'm pretty sure today was a day embedded in mandarin...We are learning the language pretty well, yet it is a bit overwhelming at times...Today we went to the palace museum and then to get shaved ice, which let me tell ya is the bomb dot com...heh Feeling TONS better today :) so so so glad. Talked to mom this morning....it was hard. I haven't got to see her since i've been here and the emotions are getting tough, but i know it will be ok....Laughter has been so soothin to the soul. :) :) I haven't laughed this much in such a long time. So great.
if laughter has been what is soothing you right now then you will enjoy this. we were in class and JDS left something in his office, so in the middle of class he went to his office and for the first time of many this semester, we locked him out in the middle of class. and then he gave me the eyebrow and said for me to hope my grade comes up from an F to a D this semester. i just thought i would share that with you because i know it would make you smile. and bam bam called your phone.
